What if no plumber accepts my job?

If nobody accepts at your estimate, we email you a revised offer (about 10% higher) that you can accept or decline — nothing changes unless you say yes. After three rounds with no taker, we close the request and let you know. You never owe QuickHotWater.com anything.

How fast will someone contact me?

Your job goes out to nearby plumbers as soon as you submit it. Once a plumber accepts, they contact you directly by phone or email — within 48 hours at the latest. Marking your job “High urgency” flags it so plumbers see it first. Response time depends on which plumbers are available in your area, so we don't promise a same-day visit.

What if my home's conditions don't match the estimate?

Your estimate assumes a standard like-for-like swap: same fuel type, easy access, working shutoff valve, intact venting and so on (see “What your estimate assumes”). The plumber checks your setup in person. If something is different, they explain the exact adjustment before any work begins, and you can decline at no charge.

Do you do repairs?

No. QuickHotWater.com handles water heater replacement only, matching same fuel type to same fuel type (gas to gas, electric to electric). If your unit can be repaired, contact a licensed plumber directly.

Do I need a credit card to get quotes?

No. Getting an estimate and sending your job to plumbers is free, and we never ask for a card. You pay the plumber directly for the work, and only after you approve their confirmed price.

What does the installed price include?

The installed price includes the new unit, labor, and a permit fee. Your plumber confirms the exact price on site before any work begins.

How do I know the plumber is licensed and insured?

Plumbers must certify that they hold an active license and insurance when they register and on every job they accept, with warnings about the consequences of misrepresentation. QuickHotWater.com does not independently verify these credentials, so we encourage you to confirm the plumber's license and insurance with them before work begins.
